I don't think it means anything at all. People mostly ask for slide decks out of reflex, often because they weren't paying attention because they know they can get the slides later on.

We live in the same world indeed, so imagine what it means to get out of the room without having even remotely been asked the question.

(ok this could mean you totally crapped out, but I guess you could tell the difference)
