Until yet another abstraction emerges, anyone using Kubernetes for mission-critical applications should be using automated testing to prevent awful outcomes from a single botched line of YAML. There are a bunch of solutions emerging in this space, like Datree[0], made for the sole purpose of preventing Kubernetes misconfigurations.
