Can anyone speak to whether the CCL source is more or less "educational" (approachable, well-documented, etc.) than that of SBCL?

usually, CCL = Clozure Common Lisp, and not Corman CL.

The linked to article makes the argument Corman CL is a more approachable code base and also that the IDE makes it a bit more beginner friendly than Emacs w/ SLIME w/ SBCL or CCL (Clozure CL).
