It seems to be a reasonably competitive SoC for IoT applications. The ARM on a RPi is on the 40 nm range. This should have reasonably better performance and MIPS used to be a nice architecture.

You can't buy it as individual and for _organizations_ price is quite high.

How it can be competitive?
