For me, at least, despite being obviously powerful, I just can’t find anything useful to do with it beyond toys.

> most cars are in the ballpark

If you’re in the Bay, maybe, otherwise it’s $35-50k depending on how new

That's why I wrote "depending on where you are"

Brand new cars, yes, most people are NOT buying brand new that is another privilege.

The AGI goal posts move

I mean, I code?

CIS is an anti immigration think tank and Washington times is pretty blatantly conservative outlet. I’d be wary of those sources.

Sure but don’t they quote BLS data? Or do you believe their interpretation of the data is incorrect?

I haven't had time to inspect it myself, but off the top of my head, I'd be wary of taking their interpretation at face value.

Are there any sources that you consider more reliable that have analyzed this data? Those were the first 3 articles that came up when I searched the story.

Well, this is all assuming a 20% down payment, which anecdotally as a 26 yr. old, nobody I know is able to achieve. All my home-owning friends put 3-7% down. Granted, most are using first-time homebuyer loans which are generally more favorable.

In RTP (NC), a ~$400k house at 5% down is $20k

DSA is its own party; DSA affiliated candidates only run as democrats because the US system basically all but disallows third party success. I guarantee you that DSA members would not associate themselves with neoliberal Democrats at all, given the choice.

How is that different than the Tea Party republicans?

I didn't say it was.

I don't know enough about the Tea Party to confidently give my opinion, I am a bit too young to have been politically aware when they were in their heyday as far as I know.

Would love to know what phone :)

Why is that strange? To me, it’s evidence of growing dissatisfaction with the direction of the field and frustration with being made to deal with the consequences of others bad work

It's really just evidence of what group of people are doing submissions at any given time.
